Commercial Roofing Project Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, construction management experience, and the ability to coordinate crews, timelines, budgets, and customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously
- Coordinate scheduling, labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors
- Conduct site visits and progress inspections
- Ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
- Handle project documentation, reporting, and change orders
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Work closely with foremen and roofing crews
- Resolve project issues quickly and professionally
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction or roofing project management experience preferred
- Commercial roofing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of:
- Single-ply roofing systems
- Heat welding processes
- Roofing installation and repair procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Experience estimating roofing projects
- Experience managing large-scale commercial roofing jobs
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
