Roof Foreman
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead roofing crews on commercial roofing projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of roofing systems, and the ability to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on job sites.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage roofing crews on commercial projects
- Coordinate daily job site operations and workflow
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Perform inspections to ensure quality workmanship
- Train and mentor crew members
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment usage
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Troubleshoot roofing system issues as they arise
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred
- Prior foreman or crew leadership experience strongly preferred
- Experience with:
- Single-ply membrane roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM)
- Heat welding
- Roofing repairs and maintenance
- Flashing and waterproofing systems
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods
Pay & Benefits
